SMART Supports America Recycles Day Pledge

SMART supports the 13th annual America Recycles Day, November 15, 2010, and encourages everyone to sign the recycling pledge. America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging people to recycle and buy recycled products. America Recycles Day highlights a simple way for people to get involved in sustainability: recycling. The America Recycles Day pledge is a declaration to do more for your community, your world and your future. SMART hopes you will sign the pledge and encourage friends and family to do sign as well. Sign the pledge today.

Last year, the day featured 750 registered organizations conducting 2,375 events that involved 7,700 participating groups. Each year, the events and efforts around America Recycles Day become larger and more involved. SMART partner Earth 911 has list of recycling activities scheduled around the country.
