Bill Schapiro Named to ITAC

Bill Schapiro of Whitehouse & Schapiro has officially been appointed to serve as SMART's representative to the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Textiles and Clothing (ITAC 13).

ITAC-13 is a group of industry representatives who meet regularly with government officials to help develop U.S. trade policy. Mr.Schapiro's participation on the ITAC-13 will provide SMART direct access to senior officials from U.S. Department of Commerce, the Office of the United States Trade Representative, U.S. Customs and Border Protections and other agencies responsible for facilitating and shaping U.S. import/export policies.
