Chapters

Within the SMART Association, business segments are divided into chapters, so members with common concerns and interests can work together to address particular needs, business interests, and current issues. Representatives from member companies are encouraged to become active in the chapter(s) related to their businesses and to work with and share applicable ideas and information with other chapter members.

As a service of membership, our chapters advance the missions and goals of SMART. The chapter reports the progress of their activities and budgetary needs to the SMART Board of Directors. Chapter groups meet in person each year at the annual convention and periodically at regional meetings. Chapter members regularly exchange information via SMARTLine and contribute news items to SMARTTalk and the association website.
